Why Swipedar and not something else
38,402 reviews
“I typed in their address out of curiosity. Three dating platforms. We're not together any more.”
“I thought I had two or three old accounts lying around. I had forty-one. Score of 91.”
“The report is clear, dated, category by category. Nothing like the free tools.”
“My password was sitting in plaintext in two breaches. I changed everything that evening.”
“Anonymous and instant. They never saw a thing.”
“I was expecting a scam. The report was accurate on every account I already knew about.”
What people ask us
How does Swipedar find these accounts?
Two sources. First, 134 platforms queried directly to find out whether the address matches an account. Then the corpus of publicly disclosed data breaches — 14.2 billion indexed credentials.
Will they be notified?
No. No notification, no email, no trace on the platforms' side. The scan is passive and anonymous.
Is this legal?
Swipedar only uses public sources and breaches that have already been disclosed. You must, however, be allowed to scan the address you submit — that is your responsibility.
What exactly is in the report?
The full list of platforms where the address is detected, sorted by category, with the detection or breach date, the confidence level, and the overall exposure score out of 100.
Can I scan my own address?
That is the most common use, in fact. The report shows you everything a stranger can learn about you from your email address alone.
Can I cancel my subscription?
At any time, in one click from your account. Access stays active until the end of the current period.
One address. Sixty seconds.
After this, you can't pretend you didn't know.
